Easter Joy

As I watch the sun rise above the lake I am reminded of the JOY of Easter. That for each day of rain, there are many more of sun and happiness! As I dread Patrick's leaving, seeing the sun and feeling it's warmth on my face as I type these words ,are as if God is giving me the hope in Him that all will be well. I know that Mary, as she searched everywhere for Jesus must have had the HOPE in her that He did as He said He would do. He wasn't still in that tomb, He was gone. Not gone-gone. But He arose. I still love the old hymn that Methodists (Baptists,  Presbyterians--even Episcopals maybe! HAHA) have sung for eons on Easter Sunday. Yes,  you know the words! By heart!  "Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my savior............. Up from the grave He arose! With a mighty triumph o'r His foes!  (altos: he arose! )He arose the victor from the dark domain and He lives forever with the saints to reign! He arose! He arose! Hallelujah, Christ arose"!....

I  chose pictures this morning that remind me of the JOY of Christ. Easter pictures, of course, will follow later on in the week. But for today, I wanted pictures to show the pure Joy of knowing Christ as Lord and Savior and the unspeakable and unexplainable JOY you  can have  by understanding the true meaning of Easter. Even having Patrick leaving,  and even being sad, I still have the JOY of Christ, knowing that He will hold Pat in the palm of His hand and that by me letting go , God can truly do great things in Patrick's life. I truly want to say that I am part of the company called "EASTER PEOPLE"! People who are  not just  thinking of Jesus on Easter Sunday, but all the other Sundays (and the other6 days of the week!) in the year! HAPPY EASTER
