eggplant parmigiana?

As you can see Natalie is ready to POP!!!! I made some of these pix yesterday while I kept Kemp. he was still puny and she HAD to finish her Christmas shopping. She left at 10 :30 and got back at 3:30 with a big ole back ache (but the good news, with most of her shopping done!). We ate a delicious dinner! (Cutie came after work with a gingerbread man for Kemp since he was such a good boy!).When Terry walked in and saw Natalie standing in the kitchen he said, " OMG, you look like you are fixing to POP! So, we  talked about ways to get that baby here and Katie remembered we even tried the "eggplant Parmigiana" dish with Kemp. (It's supposedly not the eggplant that might spark labor, but the SPICES). At this point, even though she's still 2 weeks away, she's ready. I mean look at her! She's ready to POP!  Since Kemp was 1 ounce shy of 9 pounds, I figure Miss Daisy is at least 8 pounds now.  SO, we're ready for her to come!!!  Like I said, we went to that Italian Resturant at the Summit before Kemp was born and had the eggplant parm. to no avail. HOWEVER, just 2 months ago , Nat's good friend Chrissy who lives in Atlanta ,went to her doctor and he said "no change" when she was about a week from her due date. They drove to Scalini's and had the world famous "eggplant parmigiana" that they are famous for for bringing on labor. (Read the article below! Fascinating!). Well, guess what? Her water broke when she got home and baby Zoe was born the next day! WOW! SOOOOO,  Big T said, "Let's go eat Italian Friday night!" HAHAHAHA! Yes, we're going to go give it a try. If it doesn't work, heck, I'm willing to drive to Cobb County , Ga. to give Scalini's a try! HAHAHAHAHA (check out the article below!)

Eggplant Parmigiana Alla Scalini's
From restaurant owners Bobby and John Bogino

Nearly 300 baby pictures decorate Scalini's old-fashioned Italian restaurant in Cobb County, Ga.

Babies from Eggplant Parmigiana
All of the babies pictured on the Italian restaurant wall were born after their mothers ate the Scalini's eggplant parmigiana. The $9.95 plate of breaded eggplant smothered in cheese and thick marinara sauce is "guaranteed" to induce labor, the restaurant claims.

The eggplant legend began not long after the restaurant opened 23 years ago.

"Two or three years after we began, a few people had just mentioned to us they came in when they were pregnant, and ate this eggplant and had a baby a short time after that," said John Bogino, who runs the restaurant with his son, Bobby Bogino. "One person told another, and it just grew by itself by leaps and bounds."

To date, more than 300 of the pregnant women customers who ordered the eggplant have given birth within 48 hours, and the restaurant dubs them the "eggplant babies." If it doesn't work in two days, the moms-to-be get a gift certificate for another meal.
